Brian Lewis — Lead Software Architect

As a founding member of the Accelerated team, Brian brings more than two decades of software development experience to the table with an emphasis on custom application solutions. His vast knowledge of data structures and information management makes him an invaluable resource for architecting dynamic and scalable applications and tools capable of handling our clients’ needs. Brian has led several client projects covering the spectrum of the insurance industry, medical provider networks, provider enrollment systems, as well as various online marketplaces for products and services.

Evolution in Action: Led the design and architecture of an advanced application solution used in the management of customized Medical Provider Networks (MPN). This application has continuously adapted and evolved over its two decades of existence to remain relevant within the Workers’ Compensation space.

Provider Engagement and Enrollment: Designed integrated systems offering provider outreach, acknowledgment and enrollment services, completely automating the provider enrollment process including fax and document management.

Transforming the Medical Marketplace: Had a co-lead role in the architecture and development of a multi-organizational marketplace platform designed to revolutionize the way medical devices and services can be awarded.

Overcoming Governance: Designed tools in response to newly enacted governmental regulations requiring the state filing of employee information as it relates to workers’ compensation benefits and services. These tools automated data transfer between employers and the state.

To CRM and Beyond: Major contributor of a suite of tools used within the Professional Employer Organization (PEO) industry which includes the streamlining and automation of payroll, underwriting, HR, benefits, and risk management systems.

From a young age, Brian has had an appreciation of cinema and movies from all genres and decades. This love of movies eventually prompted him into becoming a long-standing member of the Phoenix Film Society where he regularly enjoys film festivals and independent cinema.
